The Foundation at a Glance
Power Foundation is a Mississauga-based non-profit organization committed to advancing women empowerment through education, skill development and economic inclusion. We believe that when women are equipped with the right knowledge, resources, they become powerful contributors to families, communities and the broader economy.
Our work focuses on bridging gaps that limit women’s participation in high-growth and traditionally male-dominated sectors, including the trucking and transportation industry. Through structured training programs, mentorship initiatives, and industry partnerships, we aim to create pathways that enable women to build sustainable careers and achieve financial independence.
At Power Foundation, empowerment goes beyond employment. We advocate for gender equality, leadership development, and equal contribution in economic growth. By fostering confidence, capability, and community support, we help women step into roles where they can thrive, lead, and inspire the next generation.

Our Team
Divjot K. Dhillon
Message from Founder
Divjot Dhillon is an experienced educator with a strong astrongademic foundation and over a decade of professional qualifications in teaching, special education, and language learning. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from York University, Ontario, and a Master of Science in Education from Medaille College, New York.
Divjot is a certified teacher in the Primary and Junior Divisions and has continued to expand her expertise through extensive professional development. Her qualifications include specializations in Special Education, English as a Second Language (ESL), and Kindergarten education, along with training in Reading instruction, Mathematics for the Intermediate Division, and the integration of Information and Communication Technology in education.
Her commitment to inclusive and effective learning environments is reflected in her advanced certifications, including Special Education Specialist, ESL Specialist, and Kindergarten Specialist. She has also completed leadership training through the Principal’s Qualification Program, preparing her to guide educational programs with both vision and experience.
Divjot is passionate about creating learning environments where every child feels supported, understood, and empowered to succeed. Her work focuses on inclusive education, language development, and innovative teaching approaches that help students build confidence and reach their full potential.
